I am currently studying in my third year of a BA Fine Arts Degree, at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, England. My practice focuses on the portraiture and cultural divisions, particularly in Northern Ireland. Mainly focusing on the idea of stereotypes and religious divisions within Northern Ireland, politically and locally. My practice is ongoing looking for comparatives of the hostility and overall nationhood within NI, with other countries that have or have had the same sense of divisions. I also look into the history of NI, regarding the Troubles and the changes that have been made from these circumstances, and what effects they have, good or bad.
